Descriptive characters

Tuber : Long oval to long, regular, shallow eyes, red skin, yellow flesh.

Sprout : Purplish red, cylindrical, dense hairiness.

Plant : Rather tall, spreading habit , semi-leafy type.

Stem : Internodes moderately pigmented, nodes slightly pigmented, with well-developed straight wings.

Leaf : Dark green, semi-glossy, very divided, open; large leaflet, oval (I = 1.75); semi-blistered lamina.

Flowering : Seldom abundant.

Flower : Purplish red, partially pigmented flower bud.

Fruit : Rare.
